Pastries with the Principal |
|
| |
Pastries with the Principal is an opportunity for parents to converse with the principal. Parents and the principal will brainstorm new ideas and voice their concerns about CMIT-Elementary while enjoying breakfast refreshments. All gatherings are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. in the Main Office Conference Room of CMIT-Elementary.
The following dates/classes have been scheduled:
JANUARY 22 - Fisher's 3rd Grade Class
JANUARY 23 - Fryson's 3rd Grade Class
FEBRUARY 3 - Marsh's 2nd Grade Class
FEBRUARY 5 - Trippe's 2nd Grade Class -NOTE CHANGE IN DATE
FEBRUARY 10 - Rhodes 1st Grade Class
FEBRUARY 11 - Battle's 1st Grade Class
Parents may RSVP via the email invitation sent by Ms. Stefanie.Powers@pgcps.org. NOTE: January and February dates are subject to change. In the event of a SNOW DAY, each event will be rescheduled for the next scheduled week date. For instance, if a snow day occurs on January 22ND, then Ms. Fisher's class will meet on February 3rd. In the event of a 2 hour delay, the events will also push back a week.
NOTE: ATTENTION MRS. GRAVER'S CLASS, Please contact Ms. Powers at 240.573.7240 or via email at Stefanie.Powers@pgcps.org if you are interested in a reschedule for Mrs. Graver's class. Thanks!!! An official date has not been re-scheduled.

Congratulations to the following students for showing outstanding performance, in Respecting Others, Opting to be Scholarly, Acting Responsibly, and Reacting with Kindness for the Month of December!!! The students are recognized during the Friday morning announcements, receive a certificate and have lunch with the principal!!! Congratulations!!!

Parents if you still have KidStuff books please return them back to the school.
The next PTO meeting will be held Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30pm in the schools cafeteria.

5th Grade Math and Science |
|
| |
We would like to Welcome everyone back from the Holiday break and celebrate a great first week back to school. The 4th and 5th graders will continue working on Fraction and decimals. We will also be entering the fun topic of Physics for science! So encourage your kids to keep up the wonderful hard work and staying motivated!
