  3rd Grade News

Third grade has been busy this week with the start of PARCC testing. We have completed the language arts section and will complete the math portions on the 16th and 17th. Thank you making sure your student is here and on time!

Between testing, we were able to review for our social studies test, start learning about poetry in language arts, and continue talking about fractions in math. This week in math we focused on comparing fractions with different denominators and learning about equivalent fractions. Science has shifted to focus on measuring matter and will continue to be about measuring matter next week.

Here is a link to help explain equivalent fractions:

Students can also go to tenmarks.com in order to practice their math skills.
