Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! We hope you had a refreshing summer and that students and families are ready to return to learning. Our dedicated staff has diligently prepared for another amazing school year, building on the success and accomplishments of last year. Our theme is Mission Possible: Building Tech Savvy Tigers to Change the World.

The CMIT-ES team is proud to welcome several new additions to our staff:

As students report on our first day, August 25, 2015, we expect all students to promptly arrive at school by 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. After 7:55 a.m., students will be marked as tardy. Dismissal begins at 2:30 p.m. for car or bus riders.

Hello and welcome back from your CMIT PTO!! We are super excited for the new school year. Welcome to all the new students, parents, and teachers who have joined us at CMIT Elementary. Welcome back to all the returning students, parents, and staff.

A few thing dates we'd like you to mark on your calendar:

August 28th: Back To School Bash from 3pm to 6pm -
September 1st: Kid's Stuff Books, our first fundraiser, will start!!
September 3rd: First PTO Meeting: 6pm to 8pm at the school cafeteria. PTO meetings will be the first Thursday of each month!
September 22nd: Spirit Night: Sweet Frog in Laurel

PTO Information Packets: We will be sending home with the children, PTO Information Packets. Please be looking for these. It will include a membership form, a calendar of events, and more for the upcoming school calendar.

Agenda Books will go on sale on the first day of school. Please send cash or money in the amount of $7. All students will need an agenda book and can place the order with their classroom teacher.

CMIT ES Administration

Please email your child's teacher for a car rider number. Having the car rider number on the first day will help to expedite the dismissal process. Students will receive the car rider numbers on the first day of school. For new students, we plan to issue car rider numbers during the New Student Orientation.

TIME: 10:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. FOR GRADES 1-5 (NEW STUDENTS ONLY)

ALL PARENTS SHOULD REPORT TO THE CAFETERIA FOR THE WELCOME.
